クリスマスソングに誘われて、２年生が授業中の英語教室へ。授業冒頭で視聴していた曲は、『ハッピー・クリスマス（戦争は終わった） / Happy Xmas （War Is Over）』でした。1971年に発表されたジョン・レノン&オノ・ヨーコのクリスマスソングです。タイトルにもあるように、当時のベトナム戦争を巡る世界情勢へのプロテスト・ソング的なメッセージが強く込められたクリスマスソングの定番です。今も世界の各地で紛争が続いています。War is over If you want it.
